Who we are

Sharma & Co is the practice of advocate Megha R Sharma, based in Mumbai, India. This website is ours, and we are the people responsible for any personal information you choose to share with us through it. If you have a question about your privacy, you can reach us at adv.megharsharma@gmail.com.

What we collect

We collect only what you submit to us through the contact form on this site: your name, your company (optional), your email address, and the message you write. We do not ask for anything more, and the site does not quietly gather information about you in the background.

Why we collect it

We use these details for a single purpose: to read and respond to your enquiry. We do not use them to market to you, and we do not add you to any mailing list.

How it is handled

When you submit the form, it is processed by a third-party form provider (Formspree), which passes your message along to our email inbox. From there it is treated like any other email we receive. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else except as needed to respond to you or where the law requires it.

Cookies & storage

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts so the pages display the way we intend. It also stores a single flag in your browser's localStorage to remember that you have accepted the entry disclaimer, so you are not shown it again on every visit. There is currently no advertising, and no analytics or tracking that identifies you.

How long we keep it

We keep the details of your enquiry only for as long as we need them to respond to you and to maintain our own records of correspondence. When they are no longer needed for those purposes, we remove them.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to access the personal data you have shared, to correct it if it is inaccurate, or to delete it. To make any of these requests, simply email us at adv.megharsharma@gmail.com and we will attend to it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as our practice or the relevant law changes. The “last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
